Making a wise decision for an online course of study is difficult at best.  Additionally, many On-Line courses from these schools offer similar programs of study at a wide variety of costs.  So how do you choose? What separates one curriculum course from another?

 

Most online schools leave out an important key factor when pitching their program.

 

The reality is this:

"Catch 22" -

TRANSCRIPTION AND BILLING JOBS ARE EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO OBTAIN WITHOUT EXPERIENCE.

is determining your learning style?

It is a well known fact that people have different styles of learning. Not everyone has an auditory learning style, which means many typists actually are not capable of hearing and transcribing statements verbatim even though they may have had medical terminology and/or anatomy courses.

Do something new at work Do you like to see demonstrations, diagrams, slides, or posters? Do you prefer verbal instructions or talking about it with someone else? Do you prefer to jump right in and try it?
Put something together Do you look at the directions and the picture? Do you prefer verbal instructions or talking about it with someone else? Do you ignore the directions and figure it out as you go along?
Need help with a computer application Do you seek out pictures or diagrams? Do you call the help desk, ask a neighbor, or growl at the computer? Do you keep trying to do it or try it on another computer?
